VANILLA BEAN FRENCH TOAST

French toast is a dish made of sliced bread soaked in beaten eggs, sugar and typically milk, then pan fried.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Challah, sliced 1/2 to 1-inch thick (or about 12 slices)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Vanilla bean (split and vanilla caviar scraped out)
  • 1 pinch Kosher Salt
  • Butter (as required)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the eggs, vanilla caviar, heavy cream and salt.
  2. Dunk both sides of the sliced Challah in the batter and place on a preheated fry pan that has been greased with butter.
  3. Flip once a dark golden crust forms on the bottom and repeat.
  4. Drizzle some maple syrup, add some fresh fruits and enjoy your French toast
